United Nations (UN) Secretary General Antonio Guterres has appreciated Bangladesh's financial improvement under the authority of the present government.

The issue came up for discourse when Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque met the UN chief in New York on Thursday.

The UN chief also appreciated the generosity appeared towards the Rohingya outcasts by Bangladesh and Prime Minister Sheik Hasina.

Aside from Rohingya issue, they examined different issues of shared enthusiasm, as per Permanent Mission of Bangladesh to the United Nations.

The foreign secretary expressed gratitude toward the UN secretary general for his endeavors towards finding an answer for the Rohingya emergency.

He educated the UN chief about dynamic and beneficial interest of Bangladesh in the up and coming abnormal state meeting on environmental change in September.

The Foreign Secretary guaranteed the UN chief of Bangladesh's proceeded with help to take forward his change plan.
