Happy Eid al-Adha 2022: Eid Mubarak Wishes: Also known as Bakrid, Bakra Eid and Eid ul-Zuha, Eid al-Adha is celebrated by the Muslim community across the globe. The festival of sacrifice is celebrated on the 10th day of Zul Hijjah, which is the 12th month of the Islamic or lunar calendar. As per Islamic belief, the auspicious day is celebrated in remembrance of the sacrifice that Prophet Ibrahim made out of his strong faith in God. Bakrid is celebrated for around three days. This year the celebrations for Eid al-Adha is being done today on July 10, Sunday.

ইসলাম ধর্মের সবচেয়ে বড় ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠান ঈদ-উল-ফিতর পালিত হয়ে থাকে রমজান মাস শেষ হবার পর। দীর্ঘ একমাস সিয়াম সাধনার পর যখন আকাশে শাওয়াল মাসের চাঁদ দেখা যায় তখন পবিত্র ঈদ-উল-ফিতর পালিত হয়। অপরদিকে ঈদ-উল-ফিতর পালিত হওয়ার ৬০ দিন পর ঈদ উল আযহা পালিত হয়। ঈদ-উল আযহায় মুসল্লিগণ নিজের পশুকে কোরবানি দিয়ে থাকে।
